What is a Battle Buddy?
In the military, a Battle Buddy is your battlefield partner with whom you accomplish a common mission. Battle Buddies stand ready to assist one another.
Troops Need You enables everyday Americans to become Battle Buddies for troops who request mission-essential supplies–whether deployed on the war front or healing on the home front.
You can support our troops by becoming a Battle Buddy that sponsors needed supplies.
Look at the list of profiles of troops who need supplies for their mission–whether they’re deployed to the war front or healing here on the home front.

My husband and I are looking at how we can help. After looking over some of the soldiers requests we are confused. Why isn’t the military supplying our troops with medical equipment? Why isn’t the military supplying water purification kits/equipment?
